The toe-box is craddled between a larger more dynamic pivot range through a larger wheel base utilizing -extra wide- trucks This allows you to steer either foot independently within glides better than inline or quad skates. I'm joining a derby league, but my partner wants to skate with me on the rail trails where we live. I bought a set of Carrera's and put this conversion kit on it for outdoors. We get lots of looks and compliments on the trail. Love the stability and feel of being back on a quad with the ability to navigate even the poorest of trails with my quadlines!
