The Diablo is a good deal for $149.00,but there are problems.Boots are cushy and comfortable-a pleasure.Plates are tough,light and easy to work with.Evo wheels are slippery and sliding when new,eventually develop grippiness and become aggressive after extensive trial break-in.KWIK ABDE-5 bearings are slow and dragging.Replace with Bones Reds immediately after receiving.Speedsters,demons,adrenaline junkies will be sadly and angrily disappointed with the Diablo.This line is designed for novice,beginner,roller derby wannabbees.Hey Riedell-these are suppossed to be speed skates!!!Better,faster skates are readily available.This line is all about Rieddell's bottom line.Riedell has sold it's soul to El Diablo for increased sales,and this line will sell hot,hot,hot.
